I tried The Wall a little later, and didn’t like it. I finally got one when a friend gave me all of her LPs in the 2000s. I caught up with them in this decade, and like you, I don't want to listen a complete Queen album, either.ĭark Side of the Moon was playing in every male dorm room when I was in college (Court & Spark by Joni Mitchell was its female complement), and I heard it so regularly, I didn’t need a copy. I don’t know how, but I missed Queen in the ‘70s. I don’t have anything by Def Leppard, Hysteria, 2nd:Pyromania, or Queen. And it’s so much better, and easier to remember, than R-whatever.Īs for the British groups, my favorites are the Beatles and the Kinks. R119 I call you “Kansas City” because, well, you've declared it to be part of your name, and I don’t feel like typing “Anonymous in” every time. Beach Boys fav: Good Vibration, In My Room, Surfer Girl.Stirs me to my soul. I'm smiling on my upcoming Highway to Hell.

You sound like a nice guy, and don't give me shit being from KC. Def Leppard.Hysteria 2nd:Pyromania.I also adore Queen, but honestly can't listen to ANY album all the way through. My actual favorite British/Rock or whatever.artists, band, album.Don't laugh at me.We're sharing a bonding experience here right? :-). We just have different experiences on a common journey. That's exactly what they are.YOUR preferences. Also R116 I owe you an apology for ragging on you about your music choices/preferences. Maybe not so much in music though.Earth,Wind and Fire? by Anonymous I think we have more in common than naught. You've got pretty decent taste in guys R111.

Sean Connery so animalistic, magnetic and just down right sexy, and a face that would've had DaVinci creaming his breeches to paint. Jamie Dornan is exceptional, but lacks charisma and personality, in my opinion. I actually find him too pretty and polished. I only mentioned Gandy as a prop to England. Bumping chicks to the side in the 60's that men as sex symbols works well. A drop dead beautiful guy, who's masculine AND intelligent. No Soul/R&B choices.Sounded like only boring old White guys posting 50yr old snoozes majority doesn't know or care.Sorry. No modern/post Boomer choices in Classics was mentioned.
